The relation between Jyotisha (Astrology) and numbers is from time immemorial, the science of numbers is nothing but Numerology, which has been there since the vedic times, the numbers have direct relation with Graha (Planets).

The ancient sages created a method to calculate the number from a name or a word, and by doing this they could determine the characteristics of each word and zodiac signs and also of Graha (Planets), the numbers also have direct relation with Mantra-Tantra and Yantra, based on which, Gain-Loss, Win-Loose, Success- failure, etc could be determined with ease.

Like this by deducing the Name number from the name of a person, Basic number from the day of birth and Lucky number from the day, month and year, the basic traits of that person could be determined from that number, the smallest number in Numerology is '1' and the biggest number '9'. The English alphabets were used by Cheiro with the numbers.

The number of times a mantra needs to be repeated is not a fixed number, you can always increase but not decrease it, and for safety always do some 10% extra for wrong pronunciations and errors in repeating or counting.

Basic Number

Day of birth: 4, 13, or 22 =4, 1+3, 2+2 = 4

Lucky Number: from the date of birth, 4 Dec 1995 = 4+1+2+1+9+9+5 = 31= 3+1 = 4

Name number from a name.

Ganesh, 3+1+5+5+3+5 = 22= 2+2= 4

Now if we co-relate, Basic Number = Lucky Number = Name Number = 4.

Nothing can't be perfect than this, this person will have everything so balanced out for him.

But if the name is Ganesha, than the name number becomes

3+1+5+5+3+5+1 = 23 = 2+3 = 5

From the table given above check if 4 and 5 are friends or enemies.

The result is 4 and 5 are enemies to each other, so with a difference of one letter this persons life might be little off balance.
